The Gtekesens PM18 series is a family of cylindrical photoelectric sensors for object-detection duties. Available sensing arrangements include diffused, retro-reflective, and through-beam models, allowing buyers to select a configuration according to the target, sensing geometry, and required distance.
Supported configurations PM18D is a diffused model with listed detection-distance options of 100 mm or 400 mm. PM18DB is also diffused and has a listed 1.2 m detection distance. PM18R uses a retro-reflective arrangement with a listed range of 0.1–3.5 m.
PM18T is a through-beam model with a listed 20 m detection distance. All four listed variants use a 10–30 V DC supply and a DC three-wire connection. The series is described with selectable light-on or dark-on operation, anti-interference control, and NPN or PNP open-collector output options.
The stated maximum load voltage for the NPN output is 30 V DC. Listed protective features include reverse-polarity, overcurrent, and overvoltage protection.
